Went out and picked up a rather nice Remington 870 12-gauge last night as a home defense piece. Tube holds six 2 3/4 or 3" shells, and it'll do slugs just fine. Bead sight on the front. Put a few #8 shot shells through it on the range to get a feel for it. Gotta say, I love a good shotgun. Threw a side-saddle on it, and it's currently sitting by my bed with some 00-shotshells in it ready for the zombie apocalypse.
