First Deer From New Property

I posted a few months back that I bought 80 acres to hunt on. We'll here is the first deer taken from that property. I can't wait to get all the food plots, feeders and cameras set up the way I want them. just working at it a little bit at a time.

Its total satisfaction when a person takes an animal with his first reload, first gun built, and over the first food plot. Its all good

Food plots and stand positioning has developed into somewhat of a science.
Not every thing will work in every area, but its a good way to start and the deer will tell you what works and what doesn't.
Check out the stickie at the top of the page, and go from there for food plots.
Always position multiple stands that will allow you to sneak in undetected no matter what the wind direction is, and have fun developing your hunting paradise
