I suppose it kind of depends how focused the cross hair is and if it's just a brighter section in the beam or if it was the entire thing. If the light was putting out a circle of light that had a very noticeably hotter crosshair in the middle I could see it marketed as being in between a laser/light combo. Especially since I'm not a fan of lasers on weapons as they always seem to shift around.
