I was tempted by that email, but ultimately decided against it due to the negative online reviews the 503 gets.

Academy is the absolute worst retailer to purchase a firearm from. WE purchase a pistol from them, of course the NICS system took its time, we had to wait it out the 10 day time period, but Academy said FU NO can do, thier poicy was to wait for 20 days. I told them the Big FU, I want my money back. Went to our local gun shop and it took 15 minutes.
