I just spent a lot of time this week at the Reagan library in Similar Valley. The level of double speak and hypocrisy from that man is amazing.

I got a bunch of old Mad Magazine's from the late 60s early 70s for a few bucks. Some good Nixon posters in them.

I long for those days. Nostalgia trip type thing. As we look back over forty Nixonless years we have to think that if only Kissinger had prayed with him, things could have been a lot different.
Congress defunded the VN war. Nixon ran out of options. Plus the draft pool moved North. This was not Nixons idea to withdraw from VN, it was the only option left.
He was yesterdays Obama. Just another great reader of speeches.
At least the Russians never compared Reagan to Paris Hilton.
Paris Hilton was unheard of in the 80s. Andropov compared Reagan (not unfavorably) to Hedi Lamar.
