Front sight hard to see

After shooting a few rounds with my S&W M&P45 the front sight gets so dirty that you can hardly see it. Is this normal? Is there something I can do to eliminate this? (Besides not shooting it) Are night sights an answer?

try a gold insert, essecialy if your eyes are older than 45 yrs,

Try another ammo that burns cleaner possibly. I use to use blue dot when I first started reloading and it made my gun real dirty like your saying.

I was using Winchester white box.
