I prefer the gen.3s. One of the other gun stores has been telling people for the last several months that you can't buy a gen 3 anymore.That has cost them a lot of business.

I have heard the same thing. Maybe Glock is no longer making the Gen 3, but they are still out there, NIB, waiting for a home. I prefer the later Gen 4 models myself, but the Gen 3s are solid pistols.

The early Gen-4’s had some problems with extractors, ejectors and recoil spring assemblies. My latest information at the last Armorers school was that they fixed the problems.

I’m waiting to see what happens with the 5.
