A buddy of mine and his 10yr old son came over to do some shooting yesterday. They had a Marlin bolt action .17 and I brought my 10/22 w/3x9x40 scope and the P22 pistol. I had just bought a 3 spinner target and the obligatory golf balls and rocks etc. Well I had to show off a bit after a while and tried to split a playing card with the P22 at 10yrd. Got 2 in one ten round mag. Feeling like a stud now, but!!! Then let the 10yr old shoot my 10/22 at 50yrd, he was killin golf balls easy as pie, then I said "Hey shoot one of the playin cards." He did, first shot grazed the card and second shot split it 3/4 of the way. Now this was off a rest, but 25mph gusting winds! So to make sure it was skill and to make his dad (an ex marine sniper) jealous, we set up another card and he did it again in 2 shots!!! Now that's some good shootin Tex!
