Alrighty....need some advice. Has anybody set up a gopro on their rifle....with some sort of zoom to be able to see what you're shooting? I'd love to be able to set mine up to video the prairie dog hunt in May but with the way they come there's no zoom. I found a small magnifier (2x or 4x) which isnt enough to really see what you're doing in the video. Anybody got advice?
I'm not expecting to be able to zoom completely in at the ones at 500 yards....but say out to 250 yards would be nice.

My students often use their phones to take pictures through microscopes. I would imagine that you could have the gopro "look through" a spotting scope or rifle scope.

Most of the time if you have a camera attached to a rifle, you never see the results of the shot. The recoil and movement of the camera just becomes a blur at the shot. Buddy tried to mount his bow video camera to his rifle. Didn't work well.
If one had a brake on the gun, it would help.
