Saw a news story on this recently where they are doing just that with traffic tickets. Don't recall where it was out west somewhere. Seems like they were combining your unpaid speeding or parking tickets with water bills or something like that. Couldn't find anything on the Internet about it but I did find that Illinois was keeping tax refunds for unpaid tickets owed to the state. If you do the crime, you should do the time.
What part of "nothing in life is free" don't they understand?
We have that same issue over here... Free **** is the only way the Den's can stay in office.
