I don't know why we need the General Services Administration, much less a clown...er....chief of it.

If the GSA did the job they are supposed to do then I think it's a very worthwhile department. Unfortunately in my dealings with them (which has been weekly for the last two years) there is way too much red tape, difficult to understand paperwork, and processes that involve using their outdated software to sell them anything at all. The dept. could save SO much money streamlining some processes and training their contracting officers better - but they don't.
