Like most I am steadily tinkering with something. I have a Savage that I put on a Boyds Thumb hole stock (love it), a Glock I refinished with Brownell's Aluma-Hyde (not holding up real well), an old 870 that I recently refinished with True Oil (took weeks, but turned out great). Next up is the wife's Bolt Action. It has a synthetic stock in camo. I'll either paint it or try a Gun Skin. Haven't decided yet.

Thanks for the responses.
Either way, I'd love to see a report & pics when it's done. :thumb:

Have a few synthetics that I'd like to modify eventually.

I don't mind spending the time to make it look good. Just don't want to spend 20 hours on something that will not last. Looks like I will stick to painting this one.

Thanks for the info
