I have a friend who teaches high school... during the primaries of the 2016 elections, the high school kids all went on about how much they liked Bernie Sanders.

So one day he announced that everyone in the class was going to get a C grade.

The D and F students were ecstatic. The A students, not so much. They said, "That's not fair. We WORK hard to get good grades."

He said doesn't matter. Everyone gets a C.

So the A students said, "Well then. There isn't any point in working hard, we'll just quit working if we're going to get the same grade everyone else does!"

He says, "BINGO!!!! Welcome to socialism."

Ok, Devils Advocate here...
I personally have no problem and actually applaud the reining in the of the "police state":this country has become.
Laws and LEOs have been eroding your civil rights for years. Bypassing the 1st, 4th, and 5th amendments on a regular basis. So much so and so slowly that some have grown up thinking it was the norm and a good thing.
What I'm hearing here is that you all have been brainwashed to believe they need more power.
Lets get back a time when Barney Fife was there to SERVE and PROTECT and not discriminate, corner and kill, looking for someone who MAY have broken a law and detaining innocent people to see "their papers".The " No knock law", "Citizens united", "The Patriot Act", Insurance check points as they like to call it, all to skirt around the rights you were born with the day you took your first breath.
