Custom rifle built on a Arasaka Type 38 platform. The Good; a fine example of 1950's craftsmanship, Nice piece of walnut with cheek piece and Pachmyer recoil pad. Bright blued action and 24" barrel. Action is drilled and tapped and includes leupold type scope base and rings. Custom floor plate, also bright blued and fully operational.The barrel is not the original military and has no caliber marks but a chamber casting show it to be a 6mm Remington. Bore is good. The Bad; The firing pin assembly will require replacement, someone filed the cocking notch down to an unsafe level.
