Help ID this bird

How large is a Mississippie Kite? He described it as about 4 foot wing span and large beak.

Like Dennis said, they're not Huge. However, when they're after you at Mach II, they look a helluva lot bigger....

So then, I guess I need to look into buzzards to see where they range. I've seen these birds in Oklahoma, Texas, Kansas, Colorado and Oregon.

Yep! They're EVERYWHERE!!!

I saw some in Arizona a couple years ago. The park ranger called them a Condor.

in europe hawks are called buzzards, unless it has hawk in it's formal name as in goshawk

Showed the guy the MS Kite video and he believes that is the bird that swooped over his mower twice.
