I grilled up some backstrap steaks yesterday for me and my wife. Its the first time either of us have tried elk and I gotta say, it really is as good as everyone says! They were tender, juicy, and seemed to have a slight sweetness to it. I didn't put much seasoning or anything on it. I wanted to see how the meat tasted on its own for my first try, and it was pretty darn good! Ill probably end up making some again next weekend! lol
