A friend had given me a CVA Colonial Pistol kit.
I decided I wanted another so we could "duel".
I posted a want ad on MGO, migunowners.org, as I'm in Michigan. I'm on here because this is a great forum.
This thread had some good info about avoiding scams, I just figured I should start a separate thread: Shady???

This is like the Armslist scam where the scammer steals someones pic/ad, posts it all over the country, then tries to get people to "buy" with gift cards for payment.
The really bad part, maybe more in the random text pic/"hello", is if you get in a conversation, they will send you pics. DON'T DOWNLOAD THEM! As I understand, there is malware in the pic code...once downloaded, the scammers can get to your info.
