Hodgdon Universal Powder

The drought maybe easing up. I just talked to the guy I buy powder from and he received 2 jugs of Universal and some other Hodgdon shotgun / pistol powders. One of those two jugs is now mine to be picked-up Saturday. Universal has not been available for 2 years. The price went up - $160 for an 8 lb keg.

Nice glad to hear it. My jug has about 3/4's of pound left and I have been worried. Good to hear of sightings.

Ok guys, this is gonna sound really bad. I've had many reloaders in my family on both sides, but I know nothing about it. Im not an avid shooter and with my flip flop work schedule, I dont know if I ever will be. Im wondering what the investment is in the equip and if it would be worth my while to get in to reloading, or should I just go with purchasing and selling/trading brass? Send me a PM please with your thoughts, that way we don't clog up the forum over the newbie goob! Lol
