do you think in 50 years a collector would be interested in this stuff?

To some extent yes. The value depends on the desireability vs. the availability though too. Don't plan on buying and holding for later as an investment, you'll not find it rewarding.

I agree, but unfortunately it probably won't be long before the anti's grab ahold of this marketing also and use it against us.

I thought zombies were the "in" thing back in 1997.
Meh.....they'll prolly just keep recirculating the zombie fad every 8-10 years or so...
