How many here load black powder cartridges

I load a lot of black powder cartridges. I love shooting it & a lot easier also. I cast my own lead
& make my own BP. Cheap & enjoyable shooting. If any of you want to get into it just PM me.

I load a few .45 Colt with FF or FFF now and again.

Lot's of 45/70 back in the day, and some 45/120 for a friend. Sold my lead pot, most of my molds, drop tubes, wad punches, etc. When the need arises I just reload with smokeless now. Haven't been to a competition in years. I've got a buddy with a couple of Ballard's who still travel around and completes.

7.62 Nagant, .38 Special, .357 Magnum, 44-40, .45Colt, .45-70, and 20, 16, 12 and 10 gauge.
Don't know why they ever bothered to invent that modern smokeyless stuff.
