Could be as simple as buffer tube one turn out reducing spring pressure. Even a new spring won't help.

A common problem is putting in hammer spring backwards. misfires, reduces trigger pull sounds good but it's not, reduces hammer striking ability, can lead to full auto scenario.

I would suggest garbage in locking lug area or junk in firing pin hole, but you said upper works on other lower. which rules those out.

One other is you need a heavier buffer because your getting bolt bounce.

Yep, yep, because you know, I’d never, ever put a critical spring in wrong….well, maybe, but I ain’t admitting here in a public gun forum….no way…
I am not beyond making such an error, but doubt I would have done it over and over as many times as I swapped trigger groups around. I am leaning towards not being fully in battery at the moment.

If you didn’t catch the tongue in cheek, my apologies. I was pointing towards myself.

It’s more than likely the buffer/spring.
