I missed at 23 yards

I shot at a really nice 9 point would be 10 but missing the browtine on the left side. Got greedy after watching him for 10 mins, long enough that I got my heart rate back under control anyways. wind was swirling had some real serious stare downs and he finally went broad side. had a few twigs in the way and the muzzy got deflected. I hope I didn't miss my chance. He was kinda narrow but real tall. Prob a 3.5 year old deer. He sure was pretty.

I always take a small folding saw with me to the field. When I initially sit down or when I am scouting my spot I will trim back some of the brush that I think will get in the way of a shot. I generally create a couple of shooting lanes. However, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't as the deer don't always do or stand where they are supposed to...
