When I hit the BBQ's, I usually take my own Schlitz. Not sure why, but nobody will drink it thanks to the malt liquor legacy. It's a good beer, tastes like a light Heineken

My great uncle had a manual well pump at the kitchen sink as their only source of indoor plumbing. They kept a gallon of water next to it to prime the pump. He was too cheap to replace the leathers on the piston. Had to pump like hell to get water into the sink and refill the gallon container.Hey. Don't knock rusty tin cans. Grandpa had 320 acres of grass with a windmill, and we had a "drinking cup" hanging on the windmill to get a drink when we needed one. It was a small can with baling wire wrapped around the top and bottom with a handle out the side.
Good drinking water as long as one rinsed it out.
