I have a Marlin Glenfield 30-30 that I bought new when I was 15 and I had a 39A at one time. Kind of always wanted a .357 to go with a S&W revolver.Yeah...R92/M92 are the same thing. I think R92 may be an updated name for it.
Probably looking at $650 - $700 for a Rossi (give or take), and $850 to $900 for the Henry (give or take), maybe more if you want the side-gate version as opposed to the tube-fed version. Might do better on a used one of either flavor.
I have Win 94s in .44Mag, .22Mag and .30-30 and I love 'em all. I have several Henry rimfires. And I have an early (still ported) 1895G Marlin Guide Gun in .45-70 that I just love. Lever guns are an addiction for me. Like 1911s.
I have always wondered about Rossi Quality. Good?If you're looking for value and a great gun to use full power and hauling ass loads, get a Rossi M92. They shoot good too.
I’ve got a JM stamped Marlin .45-70 ported Guide Gun as well - that damn thing is a handheld cannon.Yeah...R92/M92 are the same thing. I think R92 may be an updated name for it.

I have a Henry .22 that I still need to get to the range with. I haven't fired a round through it yet.Ross's are an amazing gun for the money.
I teach a Levergun class for Oklahoma LE. If you ever want to run a gun hard and fast, Henry's will let you down. The first two classes I did had all the Henry's vomitting parts.
Marlins had zero issues.
Ross's don't like shooting some 38 Specials.
Winchester were ok.
Can't recommend a Henry unless you're wanting something pretty yo hang above your mantle. The .22 Henry's are exceptional, tho.
