installing a dd lite rail

Hey guys when you take the barrel nut off and remove the delta ring, this frees the barrel up to come off correct? Does the barrel have to be re head spaced or anything before re installation? sorry I am not familiar with this part of the process.

The barrel does not need to be headspaced. Unless, you were removing the barrel extension or changing bolts.

Just take the gas block off and get the old nut/delta ring off, put the bolt up on, dd nut, then the rail or gas block which ever comes first in your case.
