The story isn't being prioritized In the Jerusalem Post. It's fifth on the menu on their web site.
This sort of thing happens all the time. What's different about this recent attack is that Israel has abandoned it policy of "ambiguity". Politicians over there are squabbling over the apparent policy change. They don't usually take credit, accept blame, or acknowledge that any military action has even taken place. They've dropped many thousands of bombs on Syria in the past year and nobody even noticed.
