I actually like the extended or full size mags on the XD-SC 9mm. 16 rds and extends the grip to look as part of the pistol. I am also very pleased with the accuracy, best $400 I have ever spent.

Newest M&P in 10 mm that has ran around 400 rounds now without an issue but one
The first 100 rounds included some .40 cal low power match loads so one round failed to eject.
Nothing since.

Please shoot the Taurus before you buy. I shot one and I hated the ergonomics of the controls.
