Well, as much as we would like, we can't have it both ways.

A concealed handgun is usually light, small and 'concealable'. The facts about these guns are: they kick, they are not target guns, you don't go to the range and shoot them 20, 23, 40 times, whether .380, 38 spcl, or 9mm these small guns kick.

On the other hand, a larger gun that is more fun to shoot and more accurate, is heavier, and the fact that it is heavy absorbs recoil.

If you need to "SMALL" conceable gun, it is going to kick. You have to live with the fact that they are not fun to shoot.

My 642 is NOT fun to shoot. BUT - I can carry it about anywhere. AND I can carry 38 spcl hollow point or +P.

My wife carries a j frame with laser grips. She wanted something that was simple in operation and something that would fit easily in her purse. While not the easiest gun to shoot, she handles it fine in up close cc distances.

Let her handle and feel several guns the let her pick.
