It wasn't over the detent it was just one turn to far into the lower which was just enough to make the holes not line up ever so slightly. so he backed the buffer tube out and it went together perfectly.

I likely would’ve missed it.

The MBT's went up sometime in the last few weeks, so these lowers suddenly became an even better deal. I'm debating selling the furniture off of mine, I am really wanting to homogenize my furniture. Still haven't put an upper together for my lower, though I do know what I want.

I'll let you know if I go that route. I do like the buttstock, but i hate the pistol grip. I've fallen in love with the BCM Mod1 SOPMOD stuff recently, and for the sake of consistency, I want to swap the rest over I think.
