i cut the slide stop flush with the frame, and im just trying to grow the balls big enough to chamfer the frame. i had a pair of 10-8 grips on order as well as their flat trigger, but both are back ordered, so i decided to cut the stock TRP grips like the 10-8s and just leave it at that. makes for easier mag drops as i dont have to change my grip at all to get to the mag catch. also plan to change out all of the mim parts for tool steel. ive tuned the trigger a bit and polished the throat of the barrel and the part of the frame the bullet rides on. I ran it like a whore last week with about 300 rnds in 45 minutes of mixed gold dots, golden sabers, wwb, and blazer ammo, and didn't have a single hiccup.
Thinking about putting one in my newly acquired Colt G.I. Do you like it? Or do you like the traditional rounded, oval slotted/Commander style hammer instead?
