Just wondering if anybody prepared some .22 ammo for long term storage and what method they used outide the original box.

I don't think the cold is a problem as much as the humidity is.
I have milsurp ammo that is easily 40 years old and it still goes bang.
Like said above, ammo cans, IN THE HOUSE for controlled humidity.
I don't want to start a war here, but...
If the green milsurp ammo cans are airtight and watertight, how is external humidity a problem?
