Absolutely. It's the only way to prevent this. The ONLY way.
It's stuff like this that makes me duck when someone shoulders a rifle in my direction at a show. Did no one else learn the rules of gun safety?

A man is injured at a Springdale gun show Saturday morning when a shotgun accidentally fired.
According to police Stephen Donnelly was walking towards the entrance to the Northwest Arkansas Convention Center carrying a shotgun he had not unloaded.
Investigators say the gun was pointed down when it fired into the floor.
Cartridge pellets ricocheted off the floor, hitting Michael Blasdel in the stomach and arm.
Paramedics say the injuries were minor and treated Blasdel at the scene.
Donnelly faces battery, assault and criminal mischief charges.
He's now banned from the gun show and the convention center.
