Guy on channel 4 just this morning that people come from all over using vacation time so they can experience storm chasing and hoping to see tornadoes
I've got a friend who chases. Last year he worked with a tour company that drove busses of people to chase. Decent money and he does what he loves.

Part of the first movie was filmed in our driveway and across the road in Osage County. Sheriff dept had roadblocks set up to hold what little traffic goes down that road while they filmed scenes. Our driveway was a staging area. They thought it was county road, but isn't.
We had a scanner back then when cell phones were not encrypted.
Heard some amazing conversations.
It brought a lot of money into the town and was excited to see it, but was sadly disappointed when actually watching it.
Most of the action scenes were animations, although they did use some big cranes just down the road to throw cars while they threw wheat chaff and tumbleweeds in front of an air boat they rented to make wind.
The house scene that blew up in the tornado was real. Part of the Anderson Dairy farm. They rebuilt the 100 year old farm house back just like it looked, but all the infrastructure within was new.
Don't believe I'll be watching this new version until it makes free TV.

Sometimes I feel like we’re going backwards.
This looks like a $5 bin knockoff from 15 years ago.

Some **** you buy from an Iraq kid at a bazaar, burned on a scratched up DVD with Sharpie writing on it.

Living on the Gulf Coast, late '80s, Houston station hired a new Chief Meteorologist from Boston.

He comes in all excited about experiencing his first hurricane.
6 months later, a hurricane is in the Gulf and heading towards us.

The weather wimp was giddier than a 15 yo on his first trip to the Chicken Ranch.

He goes to Galveston, broadcasts from the beach, surf is breaking above his knees.

Hurricane Cat3 turns slightly and Galveston takes a direct hit. Proceeds up the ship channel and through downtown Houston. Never seen the weather wimp again. Reported he moved back to Boston.

Libs are oblivious to the natural environment. Entitled to go wherever they want and inflict "values" upon others.
Natural occurrence that disturb their agenda is your fault for causing climate change by being a racist.
Here let's rent this lovely house in a creek bottom that floods every five years so we can collect money from fema.
