Folks, I met what seems to be a true hero today. Staff Sergeant Matthew Eversmann gave a moving speech today at the annual OBA meeting in Tulsa. He gave a first hand account of his experiences that led to the reenactment film of Black Hawk Down. Riveting, and he even was humble as well. I had arrived early and he was testing the mic but I did not know who he was. Talked to him briefly. They handed out his book as well. I spoke with him after as well. Great dude!
