Any info on the quality?

Found a Chinese version of the M44 in Dewey at Green Country Trader & Pawn, thing was in fantastic shape. Everyone needs a Mosin, maybe, but they need good ones...not rusty, inaccurate paper weights.

Then again, I guess that's part of the fun.

If I'm not mistaken you're talking about the M38. They're getting pretty rare it seems like. If you can get one for a decent price you should do it. Probably an easy sell.

If you shoot the can ammo you really need to clean your gun ASAP.

This thread made me remember how much I regret selling my mosin. Well, looks like time to get another.
