My new 3913

I got a 5946 once for $175 with 3 mags. I think it was a Broken Arrow PD gun. I've gotten a couple of others for $275 or less and my current 3913 was $300 with 3 mags. I'll try to post pics later.

I know I just hate there is not the deals that I rob my piggy bank over anymore...everyone pays retail, or at least market. I know not Everyone, but what I mean is that with the younger generation of shooters there is not history of gun ownership, meeting and being friends with shop owners and pawn shops. I bought so many guns while I lived and was in college in stillwater, those guys always treated me right. Like the adage goes.."Times, they are a changin' "

They are a little tricky to find. Smith also made a DAO version of it. 3953 I think? My bro knows where there is one in a pawnshop. He's dlbleak here on OSA if you want to hit him up.

Ok, I finally took some crappy pics of my 3913 now that olyeller finished it (I really need to trade a gun for a decent digital SLR someday)

Here are some specs on the 3913:

Dimensions are: 6.75" long, 5.25" high with pinkie extension base pad, 1.1" wide (including slide stop), 1.04" wide grip, 5.25" grip circumference, 1.9" trigger reach in DA, 1.55" in SA, weight is 23 oz empty, 30 oz loaded with 9 Ranger 127 SXT +P+.

Here are some pics of mine with an Accurate Iron grip treatment, melted slide stop, shaved and melted single side safety, and matte bead blasted slide finish (it had a lot of road rash when I got it).
