My propane tank has an over pressure release valve on it. Same for the propane tank for my BBQ grill. Both of my pressure cookers have over pressure safeties. Same for both of my air compressors. How come a couple of frigging cities don't have some sort of over pressure device on their gas lines?

Sheesh!

As time progresses and average human intelligence drops towards an inevitable asymptote, technology will cease to exist, Brawndo will replace water for drinking and irrigation, and explosions will be common place although no one will know why they are happening.....

I'm sure they do, but anything mechanical can fail. And sometimes backup systems fail too.

Tragedies can happen when both fail at once. :/

Socialism is a reasonable guess. MA is very socialistic. Eventually you get so much govt control that things fall apart.

Here, but occasionally There.
So how long is it gonna be before you latch onto one of Nikon's new mirrorless goodies? You know you wanna! Great pic, btw.

That is a sacrilegious comment...

...at least as far as I'm concerned. Besides, the reviews on the Z6 and Z7 aren't all that great.

All that aside, good pic, Dawg. And, welcome back.

Great photo! I had no idea a vehicle could be airborne on the wheelie bar alone. Amazing.

Been missing most of the juiciest theories since you've been lurking. Tough enough to keep up with the alphabet soup these days....

Yeah... my first thought was that the supply line probably became over-pressurized beyond what the residential regulators could handle.

Sad situation in any case. :/

That’s exactly what happened. Master gas pressure regulator and its backup both failed or someone opened the bypass by mistake.
