Anyone in the OKC/Edmond area willing to solder a front sight bead or recommend a smith to do so?

I'm ready to start refinishing my 1897 shotgun, cut and finished the barrel at 20" and need a new front bead.

I know there's a fine shotgun smith in Enid, one in Lawton, and probably several in Tulsa.

I need one in the OKC metro.

Frankly, if I could get the bead soldered on and the barrel threaded for chokes, I'd be even happier!

Not sure what it would cost, but I don't expect it to be free. I'd send it to D&T, but something tells me he has plenty of work and I'm not sure if he does this kinda stuff.

So, hit me with some recommendations ya'll

no thanks, I dont do silver soldering, and I dont do little jobs anymore. Never did choke threading, if it can be threaded for chokes, Steve Baldwin is who you want. 399-2875

why do you need a bead soldered on. most are threaded on with 3x56 threads.
most 97 barrels are way to thin for choke tubes unless you cut it down to 18-20"
