My CMMG bargain bin rifle and I just finished off the last of some older loose ammo that was given to me. The brass is marked LC 73 (lake city?) and appears to have 55 grain soft point projectiles. My rifle consistently shot sub-moa groups with this old stuff, so I'd like to buy ammo with similar specs. Any ideas? I would like to stay with soft points if possible so I can do some 'yote hunting.
It wasnt FMJ? I figured LC 73 was military surplus which shouldnt be anything other than FMJs.

It was soft point- very strange! So, in an ideal world, anything load to m193 specs (is xm193(a,b,c) the same?) should shoot about the same?
Well, if it was surplus, it would have been xm193 if the bullet was a 55gr.

it was probably reloads that used LC brass
