Still trying to decide to get optics or leave the detachable handle on.
I suggest you learn to well shoot it with irons before moving on to optics. It does greatly depend on your intended use though.

nice! i just finished mine a couple months ago and it already looks different than it was to begin with. i also started a thread about it and theres pics from the beginning and i just added the newest pic of it that i took today actually. you will be changing things and wanting to add to it as well i bet. its pretty addicting. what upper did u use? i see the lower is a plum crazy.
That's how mine looked when it was a newborn (except I had a quadrail), now it's lost the carry handle and grown a pair of folding sights and a red dot scope. They tend to do that the longer you have it, lol.
It is a stag arms upper. I have put over 300 rounds through it without any problems so far.
