New carry gun!

I traded my Ruger for something a little larger. Springfield XD-40 !!

I am pretty darn excited. No longer carrying a girly-gun.

I have an STI Elektra compact 1911 in 45acp...it's small and girly (it has pink pearl grips and lettering) but it's bad to the bone. My other is a Ruger GP100 in 357mag....I detest little 380's and 9mm's that are tiny an marketed as 'a gun for the ladies'...Congrats on upgrading! My next gun will be an M&P40 compact.

Come November and Open Carry you would have a new reason to buy a new "outfit" to match the grips - ha ha.

Definitely not a 'Girly' gun...I think you will be very happy with a .40 cal. I have a Glock 23 .40 I carry most of the time.... along with a Ruger LCP as a back-up.
