New Carry Knife

I usually have my KaBar TDI on my off-hand side in front at about 10-30-11:00 positioned so that if I am guarding my gun in its holster for some reason that if I grab it with my left hand swipes to the underside of the arm or wrists are easy. Blade is on the pinky end of my fist with my left hand, and thumb with my right.

That is the same place I carry mine. Just remember unless you can completely sever tendons your probably gonna have to land some blows before you can get to your gun.
