I am not in favor of the grip. I realize that the SAA deserves imitation and flattery, but this is a target gun. Those tiny (Bisley?) grips get lost in my paws. I couldn't squeeze two hands around that grip with a shoe horn.

But I like the idea of a new revolver in .22lr for sure.

So long as it's 6 or more rounds, and offered with fixed or traditional adjustable sights. The .22 SP101 had some pretty chintzy rear sights.

Agreed, there's no reason for a .22 to not be offered with decent adjustable sights.

I agree 100%, have had the Ruger SS- S/A.

With the availability of the S&W 617 I can't think of a SINGLE reason anyone would want that gun besides it being a little cheaper.

I think it's silly.
