All these idiots that come up with the idea for a "smart" gun have never fired or owned a firearm in the first place. They say, "we have fingerprint locks and passwords on our phones, so why are you opposed to putting that tech on your guns?" They've never considered having additional points of failure in a tool used to preserve life and the consequences of having that tool fail at the worst time. Nor have they considered that in the event of primary user incapacitation, it prevents any other victims being able to use the gun to save their own life. Just udder nonsense.
