Old enough to eat!
Wish I had a couple of him alive but he showed up for the rut and he is not getting any older. I guessed him at 3.5 based on his body size and the fact we don’t really have any crops around this part of the lease. Certainly a Bigger body then we normally see in this area.
He might be older (like 7 1/2), like you pointed out His body size is big especially that swollen neck. I just never pulled many jaws on old bucks just because 30 years ago people didn’t hold out like a lot of us do now.

This one really has a good portion of us (guys on the lease) split on his age. My friend did not have the jaw pulled so it’s just a guessing game. Either way he’s a fat toad with a decent rack for his body size.
