The bad thing is that he had no idea it was different until he got the deer to his place and started hosing the deer off.

That is right and some psychos in the area were sure that the deer was their father reincarnated. With them squealing and the Indians thinking it was sacred, someone passed a "Knee Jerk" law as Patrick said.

Ahhh ok. I wasn't in OK at that time, so that would be why I missed it.

Everybody should request the special permission before season starts. Maybe after all the excess paperwork they will decide differently. You never know what you might see, better to be safe than sorry.
