I noticed that one excuse after another was given why this happened and even more excuses given why each possible solution to the problem will not work. These people need to be out of business until they can get a 'game plan' in place that will help prevent them from contributing to possible future 'mass' shootings :censored:

Why in the world would you allow someone to leave a controlled area with something like that? Seems like there would be limited entry/exit points to monitor who went where after renting something. She shouldn't have been able to get anywhere near her vehicle and they should have access to some ID verification service to make sure the IDs are fake.

When I rented at a facility in OKC I never had possession of the weapon, I went into the range, and it was there with an individual that was supervising me. I never had mags, or ammo either, it was all there as part of the rental.

if you read the article the owner/manager was complaining that he might have to hire an extra employee or two to supervise the automatic weapons rentals...

"We're looking into probably everyone that rents a machine gun at the minimum will have to be escorted on the range, which will tie up more range staff, which will increase the cost, which will also take away from their ability to supervise the others in line but nobody wants firearms stolen, especially machine guns," said Felker.

I couldn't believe they didn't already have a policy like that in place!
