Well, here it is. Shot This beast Sunday and it did exactly what I wanted...it is a tack driver. The 6" Caspian slide keeps the 9mm recoil at a minimum and the old school Aristocrat rear sight just means I'm old because I think it's kind of cool.
I had the old Para frame sitting around doing nothing and had spoken to the folks at Caspian about another project and mentioned, in passing, that I had an original Aristocrat sight. They said they had a 6" stainless slide with the cut for the rear sight and the deal was set at that time.

What brand of frame did you use? What brand of fire control system?

Did you mill the slide and frame for fitup, or did you hand-fit them?

Thanks,

The frame is Para Ordinance. I bought it on OUSAbut don't remember from whom. I'm imbarrased to say i built the fire control system from stock parts I had. I tuned the trigger to a crisp 3.5 pounds.
