This was part of a pen. An Elephant Pen I guess, as it was wayyyyyyy overbuilt for Cows and Horses. So I am assuming they made a hell of a deal on a load of drill stem and they just went after it! 1950s and still re useable!

I used drill stem to make subframe connectors on a couple Chevy Nova's.
It's cheap and thick gets the job done and never need to worry about it rusting through
