PD10

Anyone out there watching for the release of the Avidity PD10? I have been trying to follow the development of this pistol since I have a Ruger SR1911 commander in 9mm and it would use the same magazines.

Well, I hadn't heard about this either; it certainly is an interesting concept. ...build it around the 9mmm 1911 mag...who woulda thunk of that?

It's like a Glock, M&P, and Steyr had sex... with a 1911 mag thrown in. Should sell well IMO. Wonder if we will see a .45?

I would think so. The exterior dimensions of the 9mm and .45 mags are virtually identical. I can't imagine it would take much modification to the frame.
